The HCBC was organized to foster local, regional and national amateur athletic competition. We fulfill this purpose through our programs. Our skill development programs are designed to improve the individual skill level of our athletes. We play basketball all year round.
COMPETITIVE TEAMS
The Hoop Squad competitive team travel season begins in the Spring. Teams participate in local tournaments as well as travel to both in-state and out-of-state tournaments.

ELITE SQUAD
Elite Squad
The HCBC Elite Squad is a skill development program designed to teach the fundamentals of basketball to young athletes and prepare them for the next level of competitive basketball.
Skill training includes dribbling, passing, shooting, and defense.The Program is open to K-6th grade boy and girls.
First session will be held on March 2, 2026 at the Finley Center.
The registration fee for the Elite Squad is $300.

SKILLS ACADEMY
The HCBC Skill Development Academies seeks to develop individual basketball skills, confidence, and overall understanding of the game. The program includes strength & conditioning training, skill clinics, and small group training.
Summer Academy
Session I: June 1st - June 28th, 2026
Session II: July 6th - July 28th, 2026
The Summer Academy will train for four weeks, three days per week and is open to K-8 boys and girls. Program cost is $300 per session.
Session Times:
Monday & Tuesday 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm
Sunday 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm
Academy sessions will be held at Sertoma Gym and the Finley Center.
Fall Academy
Session I: August 17th - September 20th, 2026
Session II: September 21st - October 13th, 2026
The Fall Academy will train for four weeks, two days per week and is open to K-8 boys and girls. Program cost is $275.
